I know it's been a while but I finally got my muse. So here it is! My new mix set inspired by all the thunderous beats I crammed into my ears from their three amazing parties. Sorry boys and girls, this one's not gonna fit into a CD coz it's nearly two hours long. There's just way too many good music out there to not include. I've gone back to my roots here. I may have gone a little housey, a little proggy, a little disco-ey lately but make no mistake - I am a child born of the drums and TRIBAL will always be in my blood. Thank you gCircuit. 2011 was the year female artists such as Rihanna, Katy, Britney, Adele, and Beyonce dominated the airwaves and even in the clubs, but there were other ladies who might've flown by under your radar. So here's to the unsung divas who were just as fierce as the ones on Billboard's charts.

A wise man once said, "One who doesn't look back at his past, will never reach his future." With that said, here for your listening pleasure is part two of my "look-back" tribute to my two favorite decades. This one starts out at 120bpm and climbs up to 134bpm. Happy running, hamsters! Recently, I had the opportunity to play an all 70's and 80's mix set for a client who celebrated a birthday at a lavish private party. I always knew I had more than enough in my arsenal to play an entire night of hits from those two decades but I hadn't played a retro set til that evening. So for your listening pleasure, here's part one of two retro mix sets that were both inspired by that private gig. This 70's mix set starts at 125 bpm and ends somewhere around 134. So you know what that means.. you not only can dance to this, you can play this while running on the treadmill as well (which I just found out a lot of you do with my mix sets). Enjoy!
